Okay, yeah, you're probably right - you are way too busy to share a constant stream of your personal life on Facebook and Twitter, but your business should have a presence on the social networks. So, just start slow. Create a profile and add some information about your business. And, start with a Twitter account; it's such low maintenance. All you have to do is make a quick "tweet" - which is sort of like a text message - of 140 characters or less updating people on your busienss endeavors. Plus, you can have your Twitter account update your Facebook status.
You can find 3 minutes a week to make announcements about your business or Twitter, right?. Sure you can. Anybody can.
Now that you've decided to finally join the social network revolution, make sure you display it on your site. That's as simple as adding a graphic announcing to your potential clients that they can follow you on Twitter, Facebook, or whatever other network you're on. There are also some free scripts that will allow you to post your latest tweets - or tweets by other users that mention your business - right on your website.
